YFC Blue bus
Blue Bus Ministry is a mobile outreach of Youth for Christ that serves Indigenous communities across southern Vancouver Island. Through a custom bus, teams travel weekly to connect with children and teens, offering a safe, welcoming space for games, snacks, conversation, and mentorship.
The heart of the ministry is building meaningful relationships—walking alongside young people, supporting them in everyday life, and sharing the love of Jesus in a natural, respectful way. Local churches partner through volunteers, prayer, and support, helping make this consistent presence in the community possible.
Nancy Carriger
Nancy Carriger has served with SIM (Serving In Mission) for many years, including decades in West Africa caring for and discipling missionary children—often referred to as Third Culture Kids (TCKs).
Her ministry has focused on supporting these children as they navigate life between cultures, helping them grow in faith and identity while their families serve overseas. Now based in Canada, Nancy continues to invest in and care for TCKs, supporting them through the unique challenges they face.
